(correct answer: C for "Caden"! )

How it went down?...
Caden our 4th grade super star has yet another ribbon to add to his collection. Earlier in the school year his class had tryouts after school for students interested in going to math Olympics. Caden heard rumor that a hotel swimming pool, and a day out of school was involved, and instantly he decided to try out.
Out of all the 4th graders who tried out... they totaled the scores and let each student know if they scored higher in "reasoning" word problems... or "computation" speed math facts. After the initial testing, Caden was put into the "reasoning" category.
Each 4th grader was given a series of 3 tests all timed at 10 minutes each in their category... with the top scores advancing. Caden advanced to the top 3 in his "reasoning" category. His score was high enough to qualify him to go to State Math Olympics in Conway Arkansas. All semester he attended after school test review sessions. Doing timed practice tests, and reviews.
Come February Caden was quite ready for his Conway competition!!!
